On Wednesday 7th all the project students joined early in the morning at the classroom to make a creative writing workshop dealing with the what-does-it-take-to-feel-at-home topic. They gathered in groups of four and worked on it. We all really engaged, you can see the results.
After that, all the students but the Spanish, headed to the refugee welcome centre to find out how the refugee hosting works in Spain. Workers responsible of the centre ruled an activity to help us to understand how those persons feel and struggle to completely get their rights in Spain.
In the evening, we all met back in the School Colegio Sagrada Familia de Urgell – Madrid. Cajoneada event had arrived!! Music everywhere, and music performed by all the attendees!!! We discovered many hidden talents, and, above all, the collective talents in creating something nice when we all do our best!!
To close the day, we gathered again at the dining room to enjoy a genuine and typical “chocolate con churros” also with the hosting families.
